The word “Yoga” comes from the Sanskrit root “Yuj”, which means “to yoke” the spirit and physical body together. The various styles of yoga typically combine physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation or relaxation.
Yoga is a popular activity for all – athletes, children, and seniors. It energizes our bodies and calms our minds, makes the body more flexible and helps you relax even in the midst of a stress stricken environment.
The main goal of yoga for kids and childrens is to stimulate the physical, mental and emotional abilities. Yoga is also successfully used as a form of therapy for kids with different physical and mental ailments.
